Café Americano Recipe

A true classic, the Café Americano lets the rich character of our Café Mexicano Whole Bean Espresso shine through. It’s the perfect cup for those who appreciate pure coffee flavor with a lighter finish.

Ingredients:

  • 18 - 20g of Café Mexicano Whole Bean Espresso (for 1–2 shots)
  • 6 - 8 oz of hot water

Instructions:

  1. Grind the beans using a fine grind
  2. Pull 1–2 shots (about 1–2 oz total) using your espresso machine
  3. Heat the water just below boiling
  4. Pour hot water into your cup first, then slowly add the espresso to preserve the crema
  5. Sip as is for a bold flavor, or add a splash of milk for a softer finish

Tip: For a stronger Americano, use less water or an extra shot of espresso.
